Home > Founder Patron: The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF)
The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is a registered charity, working since 1976 to promote the conservation and sustainable re-use of historic buildings for the benefit of communities across the UK, particularly in economically disadvantaged areas.
The AHF exists to help communities find enterprising ways to revitalise the old buildings they love. Their support acts as a catalyst for putting sustainable heritage at the heart of vibrant local economies.
Through the AHF, Horizon Youth Zone has accessed grant funding from Tranforming Places Through Heritage, a programme which supports projects that will contribute to the transformation of high streets and town centres in England helping them become thriving places, strengthening local communities and encouraging local economies to prosper.
Horizon Youth Zone is a charity dedicated to providing North East Lincolnshire’s young people with the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose. Located in the centre of Grimsby, Horizon will be a safe, inclusive and vibrant space, providing over 20 fun and engaging activities every session for thousands of young people.
