Sharon Wroot was appointed Executive Director Place and Resources for North East Lincolnshire Council earlier this year, having been with the local authority since 2010.
Prior to this, Sharon worked in the private sector before undertaking various senior roles within the local authority, beginning with her appointment to Chief Finance Officer (S151) in 2015, then broadening her portfolio to take on responsibility for other areas of council business, including environment and waste in 2017.
In her role, Sharon is keen to support the work already being done to promote the profile of the council and the borough with a view to creating the right conditions for investment, economic growth and community resilience, within North East Lincolnshire.
Sharon is a keen advocate of whole system transformation and integration across partners within the locality, recognising that to achieve place based leadership we must all play to our respective strengths, work collaboratively and in partnership to achieve our ambition and opportunities.
