The Young People’s Development Group (YPDG) are a group of local young people who play a key role in the development of the Youth Zone. From branding to staff interviews, they help bring the Youth Zone to life!
The YPDG want to invite other young people to join the group to learn more about the Youth Zone and share their ideas.
Being a part of the Young People’s Development Group is your chance to find out more about Horizon Youth Zone and share your thoughts on what will make the Youth Zone the best it can be for the young people of North East Lincolnshire.
As a member of the YPDG you can expect to:
– Go on trips including visits to open Youth Zones
– Support with fundraising for the Youth Zone
– Be involved in recruitment & involvement in interviewing staff/volunteers
– Represent Horizon at community events
– Get creative, helping to choose the brand & interior visuals
– Collect the views of other young people
– Become an ambassador and champion your Youth Zone

Horizon Youth Zone is a charity dedicated to providing North East Lincolnshire’s young people with the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose. Located in the centre of Grimsby, Horizon will be a safe, inclusive and vibrant space, providing over 20 fun and engaging activities every session for thousands of young people.
